Overview:
In Home Services - Direct Support Professional (DSP) Hennepin County Location: Minnetonka, MN Rate: $13.26/hour; Full-time & Part-time opportunities This position does require a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and daily driving with a personal vehicle. In home staff are required to drive to the people we work with and in the community. Mileage reimbursement is 57.5 cents/mile. Purpose: As an In-Home Direct Support Professional with Opportunity Partners, you provide support and training to people in their homes and community so that they can live as independent as possible. Requirements:
Required Qualifications: Two years of post-secondary education and/or 0-2 years of human services experience preferred Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle or transport people in employee’s own vehicle Must show proof of valid motor vehicle insurance Other Desired Skills: Oral and written communication skills Ability to relate to individuals with developmental disabilities Knowledge of community resources Self-directed Flexible Patient Person-centered interaction style Working knowledge in computer skills- Word, Excel, Outlook Organizational skills Time Management Multitasking Problem solving Listening skills
