Call for Presentations
2021 Educational Offerings
ARRM’s 2021 education program and presentation selection looks different from past years. To increase the variety, quality, and scope of webinars, conference sessions and workshops offered, this year’s call for presentations is open for all ARRM training and conference events. Interested presenters can submit as many different topics as they like, for as many of the education event formats ARRM offers: conferences, workshops, webinars, or even just a physical training resource. We are especially interested in experienced virtual presenters and engaging topics for our online/webinar offerings.
What ARRM looks for
ARRM purposefully seeks a wide variety of topics geared to audiences from DSPs to CEOs. However, presentations proposals will be selected based on certain general criteria:
- Does it address a core business operational or service issue for Home and Community-Based Service providers in Minnesota, AND/OR provide insight on future trends or issues over the horizon.
- Is it an engaging presentation that delivers objective, high quality and research/evidence-backed information with clear takeaways for the audience.
- Will it be a unique offering from ARRM that fits the mission as strategic goals of the association.
In your proposal submission, you will have the opportunity to identify the broad topic category your presentation fits into, but ARRM will rely heavily on the written session description and identified audience takeaway sections when assessing the above criteria.
Event submission deadlines
ARRM and its committees will select proposals on a rolling basis throughout the year, and approximately two months ahead of the event for which they are selected, barring special circumstances. For ARRM’s four major events, final selections may be made further in advance.
