USDOL-WHD Training on Overtime DOL Changes

When:  Jun 25, 2024 from 11:00 to 12:00 (ET)

This USDOL-Wage and Hour training session will focus on the DOL’s recent ‘Final Rule: Restoring and Extending Overtime Protections’.  The Rule which will begin to take effect on July 1, 2024, updates and revises the salary requirement for key minimum wage and overtime exemptions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).  The revisions include increases to the standard salary level of these exemptions that will affect workplaces across the country.  The training will include an explanation of the new changes, a ‘mini-training’ session on the general requirements of the FLSA exemptions, and Q & A time.  The primary goal of the session is to give attendees a firm grasp on the changes, and how these FLSA exemptions apply in their workplace!
